Flames of Fire Ministries Int’l was birthed in the Spirit in Melbourne, FL in intercession through a vision and through the scriptures. Through a vision, Prophetess Betty Holland was given the Scriptures Isaiah 62:10,
“Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples needs!
And the scriptures Hebrew 1:7 and Isaiah 6:5-13 are the foundational scriptures. The ministry was founded in 1989. Before the birth of the ministry Betty Holland had been a lay minister serving the body of Christ in many different positions. Betty attended bible college in Zanesville, OH for one year and then attended Word of life Church, now known as the World Harvest Bible College. She also attended many lay leadership courses. The calling of an Apostle-Prophetess was confirmed upon her life by Apostle-Prophet James Wesley Smith of Melbourne, FL. James Wesley Smith’s ministry in La Grange, GA is called Bethany House of Prayer. James Wesley ordained Betty into ministry in 1990 after she gave a year’s service in the Bethany House of Prayer.
Betty birthed an intercessory prayer group in Palm Bay, FL that grew into a huge group. During that season of intense intersession the Lord spoke to the group. He said that the group was birthing a move of God that would come out of the state of Florida and move up the east coast into Canada. This literally came to pass. This included the Brownsville revival and the Toronto Blessings move of God. We were a much hidden group of intercessors, obedient to do what God had told us to do.
Betty’s life has always been one of intense prayer and a burden to see the body of Christ mobilized in prayer. Betty’s ministry is one of great empowerment, impartation and one of equipping the saints to do the work of ministry for Christ.
The ministry consists of:
- Ministry of Deliverance
- See the broken hearted healed
- 24 hours Prayer hotline for suicide and drug abuse
As of February 2004, God called Betty to birth the Ohio Prayer Center in Columbus, OH. The prayer center has created and maintained an “Open Window”, “open Door” and “Open Heaven” that keeps getting results. There has been many exploits in the Spirit realm since the inception of the Ohio Prayer Center in Columbus, OH. In early 2008, the word of God led Betty to rename the Ohio Prayer Center (OPC) and the name was changed to Justice at the Gates of Prayer Center, (JAGPC).
Upon returning to the Columbus region, being a “sent one” into the city, Betty received a prophetic word that she would birth a prayer center. That word has now come to pass. We are up and running and God is doing great things.
Betty was voted into the Cambridge Who’s Who registry in 2007/2008 and in the past months was asked to participate in a prophetic roundtable which pray at the national and international levels for the nations of the world. The prayer team is called the “Swift Justice Team”. This team is comprised of many nationally known prophets
